Survival Poem by Bella Luca

Survival

Do you know we lock our hearts
tightly in our minds?
That they're the ones that pay the price
of all we leave behind

And through the dreams- the songs, the toil-
our stoic brains will stand,
failing in muffled agony
but revolting against man
