Suspicious Poem by Edward Webb

Suspicious

suspicion; haunts as demon, wondering the mind of guilt,
for when thought of gain is actioned, souls unheard will wilt,

shamed a soul to accept,
what conceives as bad but done,
lies to inlay of a self and infects a soul redone

guilt in a mind is a retrospect
on who you thought you were,

and you want to ensure that others don't see that unfurl,
Inward thee loose trust in ownership of mind,
and strewn that trust be too, of all reality around

bad imagined,
as bad be done to you,
as you betrayed your soul
and surmise of every act thats good,
be a hidden bad in toll,

instead forgiving back to that thought and see the mistake,
and then see the retrospect of good,
bad has taught through heart ache,

and soul forgiving of its host,
knows it tripped in life,
stays as whole within you being,
so trust is retained for life.
