Swadley’s Here I Come Poem by Marilyn Lott

Swadley’s Here I Come

Whenever you’re hungry
I’ve got a tip for you
Meet me down town
And I’ll tell you what we’ll do

We’ll go to Swadleys for bar-b-q
They have the very best
We’ll get Bar-b-q-ed ribs
With cole slaw sweet and fresh

Okie tea when you throat is parched
Will do the trick on the spot
Delicious red beans with spuds and toast
And sausages spicy and hot

I’m heading out the door right now
You’ll catch me on the run
There’s a plate of food with my name on it
Swadley’s here I come!
