Swallowing Tears Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Swallowing Tears

Wallowing away in a private pity party,
swallowing tears, finding ways to
straighten out crooked paths.
Leading me into ravines of emptiness
where I fall and remain where I am.
Never to perform for anyone as long as
I exist.
