Sweet Darkness Poem by Anonymus Girl

Sweet Darkness

Sweet darkness
Clothing me
I’m becoming lost
In this massive sea

I’m closing my eyes
Now I can breathe
Facing the heavens
Life is a breeze

Holding up my palms
To the sky
I’ve surrendered
No need to cry

Tears of joy
And tears of pride
I’ve told all my secrets
No reason to hide

Now, sweet Mischief
Come find me
I am lost
In this massive sea

I’m opening my eyes
Now I can’t breathe
Face away from the heavens
I will not grieve

Oh, sweet darkness
Unclothe my body
Oh, sweet Mischief
I see your beauty

Sweet Mischief
You have found me
Cloaked in this darkness
Still, I am free
