SWEET HAUNTING MEMORIES

Let this mystical and sprakling night,
With your memories haunting through
my dreams;
Be here with me to stay, even after the
break of day!
The night sits on its Peacock Throne,
With its didems and jewels all glitering
bright;
And like the peacock spreads out its wings,
Into the ebony depths of the silent night!
But let your thoughts always remain,
In my mind and in my heart;
And with those piercing darts of the day,
Let your sweet thoughts never depart!
And I stay awake only to dream,
As with the clouds your face floats by;
Your memories keep haunting still,
While I retain those images of the
beautious night!
Let this night not pass away,
And let it be here with me to stay!
As I inhale its sweet lingering fragrance
and perfume,
To make my night last all through my day!
