Sweet midnight weaves its magic spell
Upon the sleepy eyes that fell
Into the realm of wistful dreams
Where nothing's real ~ nor as it seems.
A touch of magic scattered there
Amid the moonbeams beaming rare
With breath of heaven's sighing sigh
Against the kiss of starry sky.
The dipper dips while wishes fly
On wings of child-like lullabye.
I wish I may ~ I wish I might
Sweet wish ~ I wish for you tonight.
Outside the realm of earthly scenes
Within the hidden land of dreams
Softly ~ misted visions stare
Into the hearts with souls to bare.
Soulful souls that yearn to soar
Above the milky way ~ and more
Into this night of night's delight
Upon the wings of eboned flight.
So the spell of spells is cast
In slumber ~ beauty's breath will last
Past midnight with its darkened hue
Sleep on ~ until your dreams come true.
