Sweet sweetie I desire you

Sweet sweetie I desire you
When stressed by life's issues I desire your caressing hand
When tired and feeling old I desire your nourishing breast
When confused on decisions to make I desire your bright mind
When hungry and needing nourishment I desire your delicious meal
When annoyed by someone I desire your soothing word
When unhappy with the day's events I desire your bright smile
When bitter thoughts are in my mind I desire the honey in you
When no sleep comes at night I desire your warm embrace

Surely I desire you sweet Sweetie
Surely because you are desirable I desire you

Poem of the Day

poet Paul Laurence Dunbar

The mist has left the greening plain,
The dew-drops shine like fairy rain,
The coquette rose awakes again
Her lovely self adorning.
