Sweet Words Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Sweet Words

Rating: 5.0

“Prisoner of thought” as I am
The adulthood is fought
Craving for good companion
“If I get one for permanent union”

I am craving sincerely
I review near yearly
When spring knocks the door
I feel lost soul as poor

I have read about fairy
As child I used to remain dreamy
Look at sky and dream for one
The thought remained thought and came none

Now I am young and real brave
I have dreams so simple crave
Not run after to fulfill but think
Seriously over it try to bring an end

What she will be really looking like?
Red cheeks, smiling eyes and ready to fight
No, no, I want to brush aside that idea off
Go to corner and silently laugh

I want to hear sweet words
From someone’s mouth to look forward
In the real world of honorable people
Who want to avail peaceful life with sweet struggle?
