Pedro swam the Rio when rainy.
Tho his Tex-Mex was pretty sketchy,
He found a cowboy hat;
Nobody knows whereat,
Now, instead of “hola” – it’s, “Howdy! ”

Your poem is flawed in the respect that Mexicans do not speak Tex-Mex they speak proper spanish. The ones that speak that dialect are the Americans waiting for the cocaine Pedro brought with him.
