The symbols I see
Are lost in mind
Have different meanings
Some yet to find

The symbols I see
Bring back memories
Flush the hope from my dreams
And leave me empty

The symbols
Are barren
Have more and more
Nightmares
Because of them

See them before sleep
And when I wake
But what do I really
Have at stake

The symbols I see
Are a storm brewing
Bringing back
Long buried fears

The symbols I see
Just haunt me
That's all that they'll be
Fears that taunt me...
