Syria Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Syria

Syria

Syria be aware
I love you
As I love all Arabs
You to me, with Beirut,
To Hijaz and Yemen, Palestine
Etc.
Act as one
Siblings; my sisters, brothers…

We sure share same blood…
The unique human’s

How can I, ignore Sheikh Bahayee
Or Obeid Zakani
And like them, so many…
In buildings and the words?
They added to Iran’s…

Have no doubt
We are all siblings
Pray, seek, for the peace.

See brides of our lord, Freydun…
All Arabs…

For your pains I cry…
Wounded, I empathize.
