T’was The Moments Poem by Lewis Dowell, III

T’was The Moments

Oh yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah yeah, yeah,
Yeah yeah.
La la la la la laaa
Ohhhhhh yeah uhhuhhh
Yeah yeah yeah
Da da da la la laaa

T’was the moments,
So sweet they last,
Never thought for a moment
That they would pass-
I drank from waters
Beyond the sea,
Never thought for a moment
They’d flow from me,
La la la la lalalaaa
Ooo yeah
La lal lala la ohhhhhh yea-

Ten thousand Decembers
Looked at me
The coldest seasons, tranquility-
I brushed the sheets
From across the way,
And turned the reasons
Around to thee,
T’was the moments
So sweet they last,
You had the visions
I formed them tenderly,
La la la la la la lalalalala

Oh yeah yeah yeah
Yeah yeah, yeah,
Yeah yeah.
La la la la la laaa
Ohhhhhh yeah uhhuhhh
Yeah yeah yeah
Da da da la la laaa
