Tagore Song (#101) Thou Sings Thy Songs In Finite Form Poem by Tushar Ray

Tagore Song (#101) Thou Sings Thy Songs In Finite Form

(seemar majhe aseem tumi)

Oh Infinite One Thou singing
Thy own songs in the finite forms
This is why Thy expressions become
So much sweet within me
This is why Thy splendor is so soothing!

In so many colors, so many smells
So many songs and dances
Oh formless One, my heart awakens
By the variety of Thy forms
This is why Thy splendor is so soothing!

When Thou and I commune together
Everything opens up in me
The oceanic-universe start swinging
With wavy motion at once

Thy light having no shadow
Assumes this form in me
Becoming charmingly elegant with my tears
This’s why Thy expressions are so sweet in me!
