Tagore Song (200) You Won’t Be Lying Below Smiling Evening-Stars Poem by Tushar Ray

Tagore Song (200) You Won’t Be Lying Below Smiling Evening-Stars

(na-re, na-re, hobena tor swargo-sadhon)

Oh no, no-no, this won’t be your trip to heaven
Happiness-is-bound here trapped in sweet-dress
You thought at days end coming through this
Burning hot road in the end
Your daylong tears will vanish in golden cloud
Oh no, no-no won’t happen to you, not to you
You won’t be lying below evening smiling-stars
Your travel-friend will initiate going out madly
Your heart be bursting forth finishing own-duty
