Tagore Song (235) That’s Where Light-Darkness Starts To Knowing Each Other

(Chhutir banshi bajlo je oi nil gogone)

Holiday tune rang amidst the blue sky
I wonder sitting here alone
The Sheulis will bloom from bondage
That’s why around lawn bud swinging
Dew-washed air touching forest
That’s why I look up rapt seeking tune
What a mystery web being weaved
Along the forest-directions
That’s where light-darkness starts to
Knowing each other
The shredded Maloti using its scent
Spreads the cries amongst the grasses
The sky smiles at waving of white Kash
So I look up empty for song by myself
