Tagore Song (415) Where The Road-Ending Where Ends, What's There In End

(pother sesh kothaya sesh ki achhe seshe)

Where is road-ending, where ends, what's there in end
So many desires, so much meditation where mingling
Up and down waves make crying, deep darkness ahead
Oh there is end, it ends - - the shore somewhere in land
Thinking today in mind, alas searching in mirage
Possibly unending thirst, mind being thus scared
Pain in broken steering torn sails going nowhere
Where is the road-end where ends, what's there in end
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Beautiful. Moments of doubt and human limitations for knowing the unknown expressed with such beauty. Loved reading it. Thank you for the translation.
