Tagore Song (#50) My Lamp Extinguished Traveling Alone Poem by Tushar Ray

Tagore Song (#50) My Lamp Extinguished Traveling Alone

(Jete jete ekla pothe nivechhe mor bati)

While traveling along all by myself
My lamp quitted lighting
When storms hit my way
Joining me as my travel companion

Dangers started frowning
Across the corners sporadically
Wind began playing havocs
Along my dresses and hairs
And made me losing direction
Unable to see in darkness

Hopefully these lightening
Offer credence to my new-course
Showing my place reaching at dawn
Toward the end of my long-night!
