Taiwan Mid-Autumn Festival Poem by U Win Kyi

Taiwan Mid-Autumn Festival

Mid-Autumn Festival
is a Chinese traditional culture.
All family members
living far or near,
coming together,
to have an open-air barbecue,
which for children is very cool.
They eat moon-cake.
A lot of noises they also make
by setting off firecrackers.
They are air and noise polluters.
As people are gazing at full moon
smoke from charcoal floating in the air plume by plume.
