Babe, take it seriously the world is dying
And so am I
My weak heart fading
My beats more dispersed
My time tick tock-ing
less and less

Honey, take it seriously the world is ending
And so am I
May not be today
May not be next Monday
May not be next Friday
But it is soon and you know it

Sweetness, take it seriously the world c'est fini
And so am I
My weak legs are achy
My flimsy arms lethargic
My back curved by the years
More and more

Friend, take it seriously my world is complete
And so am I
My memories grounded
My paintings finished
My books typed up

Honey, take it seriously my world is closing in on me
The rooms are empty
My stuff all packed
Memories saved on a server

My love is free now
Living eternally
All around you
