Take me away from where I am.
Let me see anew.
Take me away from all I know.
Take me away with you.
I need a place where just your face
is what I get to view.

Your eyes will open and I will see
what I could not see before.
The windows to your soul will appear
and open every door.
that brings me peace and all things sweet
and all I do adore.

Where will you take me when we go
and will I even care?
Probably not, for with you love,
I'd go anywhere.
I'd close my eyes and let you choose
and when I find we're there

I'd hold you tight and ne'er let go
and thank my lucky star
that you took me away from where I was
to be just where you are.
So, take me away on this fine day
to wherever, near or far.
