Take Me Away Poem by Madz Vash

Take Me Away

I’m tired of this talkin’
Petty Fightin’
The protagonist you’re playin’
All were getting is cryin’ and hatin’
Self-destructing us, what do you get from it?

Your mouth full of stories
Stories you compose
Your tongue, full of lies
Lies that strains our lives
Your voice full of emotions
Emotions in disguise
Your heart, filled with darkness
Darkness that consumes every part of you
Wrecking every friend of you

All your eyes see is money
That won’t buy you love, honey
It won’t make you friends, “Mr. Lonely”
A make believe maybe, temporarily
Until they find you, underneath your mask

Take me away
I need to get away
Away from your ways

What father slanders your own,
Maligns the son of you,
Defames your own blood and flesh?
Creating war within themselves
Only Lucifer would, only you would.

I don’t care anymore, take me away
I need to get away, away from your ways.
The only one who can fix these relationships
Is the one who tore them apart.
