The sound of the door closing behind
My name being called
My dad held a big brown box
Gently setting it the floor

Revealing what was behind
As white as snow

I held him in my arms
Fluffy as a marshmallow
Still so small
I was careful, so he wouldn't fall
Taking him out
He slowly wandered about
This was a new beginning
From now on it was a new responsibility
That I had to fulfill
And to show I am capable
