Talk To The River - Water Course Way Poem by Joshua C. Whiting

Talk To The River - Water Course Way

Gaze at a river swiftly moving to the Sea
Short-life within, struggling to Be
Embrace the gentle wind blowing Free
Touching your face, blissful Reverie

Watch the Sun across the horizon with Glee
Millions of sparkles beaming at Thee
Fascination with change of Seasons
Explanations, many Reasons

Butterflies flittering here and There
Birds becoming a mating Pair
Rustling leaves bending Effortlessly
Enjoy beauty of life Everlastingly

Rejoice in glory of Daylight
Raise windows of the heart, utter Delight
Hear the storm, its thunderous Sigh
Flash of lightening across Earth and Sky

Tai Chi is known as the Water Course Way
Circular yin yang Sway
Flowing forms, river like Movement
Kicks, stretches, body/mind Improvement

Grasping the zeitgeist of it All
Your gift to always Recall
Siddhartha sought solace and Peace
Talking to the River, anxiety Surcease

Marvel at sounds of Midnight
At peace with the world, harmonious Insight
Live to be a sincere Giver
Forever remember: talk to the River
