Yet it is dangerous
To stay

I have been
Trying to leave
For that reason

Even though
It causes pain
It would be safer

To leave here
Or change
The subject

Who am I fooling
There is pain
Either way

But at least
If I was gone
I could pretend

For a while
By changing
The subject

Yes I am
Talking about
The weather
