Tango Poem by Julia Klimenova

Tango

Rating: 5.0

Cyber tango.
Two poets dancing.
One line - one step,
The sight's entrancing.
Rhythm and metre.
D'you hear the heartbeat?
Who leads? Who cares,
As long as they meet.
Words turn, worlds spin,
The screen's on fire.
They write, they rhyme
Just one desire:
To come back here
And dance but once again.

There is something about a couple dancing this way, when they look into each other's eyes, that is like making love right there on the dance floor, so intimate, so personal. Lovely write, Julia. Scarlett

This is a wonderful poem, Julia. It reminds us that rhythm and metre are integral parts of our art and that each poem is a dance whether two writers are working or just one dancing that Tango with their Muse. Brava! Best regards, Hugh
