Life is a tapestry we weave day by day,
With threads of different colours, some heavy, some grey
Others thin and bright, all fit the pattern, dark or light
Stand back and take a long look at the design you have woven
Insight and knowledge are gifts you have been given
Now your vision- through our eyes, the world will get to see
Soar high with fame and glory, that is the place to be

A hundred books on wisdom are but words on a page
All eyes gaze upon you as you step onto the stage
Apply what you have gathered here, listen to your heart
Life is not just good intentions, action is your part
The path of life will curve and you may feel unsure
Our best wishes stand you stead, it's time to take a detour
