Teach A Man.... Poem by GodBody O.G

Teach A Man....

So many lurking with hate for me
that's why nowadyas I stay sucker free.
Traced my lineage back to kings and queens
stripped of thier title's when outsiders hit the seas
brought up in the streets screaming thug out loud
but history taught me to stay strong and proud.
I look at the youth and see them in plight
we all need help, there's not more black than white.
Unity escapes us cause we're blinded by money,
they say after the dark things must get sunny
but if you take a look at the distant horizon
things look bleek and there's no sign of the sun.
I sit back and smoke a splif to ease my mind
wishin that life had a button so I could rewind,
when the smoke clears I ready my newest course
ancestrial spirits behind me so I move with force.
Trying to spread my thoughts to all that will listen
since I gained knowledge I spend more time fishing.
See now I eat forever and try to spread the fruits of my labor
praying to God that one day karma will tip in my favor.
Since a teenager I've had the same premonition.
Saw the world end staring at a blank television.
