Teacher Angie at the back
behind Teacher Eve,
besides Teacher Emelie
who's in pink
and holding Teacher Mary Ann
her bestfriend ever since,
who were also leaning
towards Teacher Tess
who's wearing blue blouse but smiling,
Me at the back wearing glasses
afraid to be noticed by someone.
beside me is Teacher Flor,
smiling as ever
even the absence
of her family,
infront of her is the preggy,
the lady in gray who's texting
even in the middle
of this fancy meeting,
were all friends
but more to that
we are also teachers
who never cease
to love our own students
we all love teaching.
