Teaching Poem by Heather Burns

Teaching

Those,
who
have
traveled
far in
life.

Need
to
teach
the
young.

As
they
struggle
on
their
pathway.

Clasping
their
tiny
hands.

Gladly
leading
saying.

Come
child,
may I
help
you.

Teaching
with
great
inspiration.

Leading
with
humility.

Setting
good
examples.

The experienced must teach the young with love, care, and devotion. Future depends on this. Thank you for beautiful poem with single word lines.

Very wise - the young need such guidance to set them on the right path.

thanks Heather Burns for this universalized write...it is a great topic frequently discussed...i would like to quote a poem on teacher's role...just to share... Haim G. Ginott ] Quotes ] Quotable Quote..Goodreads.... “I’ve come to a frightening conclusion that I am the decisive element in the classroom. It’s my personal approach that creates the climate. It’s my daily mood that makes the weather. As a teacher, I possess a tremendous power to make a child’s life miserable or joyous. I can be a tool of torture or an instrument of inspiration. I can humiliate or heal. In all situations, it is my response that decides whether a crisis will be escalated or de-escalated and a child humanized or dehumanized.” thank you...
