Tear Poem by Aron Heroux

Tear

A teardropp explodes
on the cold floor
Warm shrapnel hovers
like a delicate flower
and falls glistening still
Scattered drops remain
canvassed in glassy skin
captivating and pulling me
with undeniable gravity
World within world
like layers of an onion
unraveling in an
endless celluloid
Uncountable lives
beginning and ending
in pinpoint flash
A distant hum becomes
a deafening roar
And it all goes
crashing to the ground
