    We are like waves...
    The wind can throw us
    Where ever they like
    Till we vanish like others
    Rising new waves...!

Nice way of feeling relieved from pains...! (Report) Reply

Very philosophical write - the concept of the shining sea comes to mind. 'The dew is on the lotus, rise great sun and lift my leaf and mix me with the wave. Om mani padme hum, the sunrise comes, the dewdropp slips into the shining sea' - quote Lao Tse. (Report) Reply

I'm glad somebody encouraged you. It's really a terrific verse and idea you've put into words more understandable than some before you have done. (Report) Reply

Woa. I adored the story behind this and the way it applies to humans as well. We are all apart of something bigger so we should never fear death. (Report) Reply

Poem of the Day

poet Dante Gabriel Rossetti

Young Love lies sleeping
In May-time of the year,
Among the lilies,
Lapped in the tender light:
White lambs come grazing,
White doves come building there:
