Tears Of Ink Poem by Micheal Olaniyi

Tears Of Ink

Oh Life! Why this fate?
oh love! Why this day?
When choices are choose-less,
when the time is already late,
here i am, there she is,
with our inner feelings,
but we're too far to feel it,
adventure only can bring us back,
when we split.

Now at the junction,
she bowed in for tears,
but i showed her the reason not to,
whilst i only fake my face,
disguising it with a smile,
i knows she loves me,
and i love her too,
but to be together again,
is more than we two.

We promise to see again,
once in a blue moon,
to share our joy,
but as blue moon ever appear?
This is what i keep
i keep it to myself,
and bid a forced farewell,
when i never thought it would end here.

I have read some of your poems and I have to say; you have great potential. I advise to you is to read some poems written by famous poets different era and styles. Also, read up on figurative language and poetic devices these tools will help strengthen your poems. Always keep a thesaurus close by when you write. OK all the best to your I look forward to reading more of your work.,
