Tears On The Subway Poem by Jeff Fleischer

Tears On The Subway

Rating: 4.0

She was gone.
Nothing more I could do.
He had stolen her away.
I could never get her back.
Imagine my tears on the subway.
Silently crying while my heart beat faintly.
Sounds like a Bush/Gore election.
Like Gore, I chose not to run again.
She was mine and I let her get away.
I was smart enough
To try and fight for her love.
But he won out and now I'm all alone.
Imagine my tears on the subway.
