Technology Obsession Poem by Govind Ramakrishnan

Technology Obsession

Snapchat
the Facebook profile
of this Twitter freak
who thinks Amazon should be censored
after looking at a Google search
on his Apple iPhone

thank god there's Netflix
available on a Hewlett Packard PC
powered by Intel
running Microsoft windows
which access the Oracle cloud

we can then WhatsApp
watson at IBM
and Uber our way
to see that new Nvidia chip
to feed our technology obsession

Hello, my young friend. Social media is at best, nothing. Please consider further thinking. Peace!

Hey, I'm 60.: -) And I access it. Guess I just don't get the benefits that don't really make a difference. I occasionally use it; it doesn't use me.

Hi Kelly, Hope you are well, Am surprised that you didn't detect the sarcasm implicit in this poem, I am ridiculing the obsession that we as a society have with social media and how we cheapen ourselves by making all aspects of our life public through social media.

I fell over reading this. Our obsession comes through so beautifully. A perfect 10.
