Tek And Tut Poem by Mike Smith

Tek And Tut

Rating: 4.3

Once upon a time on a mountain long ago
Their lived a quite strange creature of which very few do know
A double headed dragon by the names of Tek and Tut
And though the creature had two heads, it didn't have a butt
Connected at the waist they were but stomach did not share
And finding food enough for two could often bring despair
They wandered 'round both night and day in search dragon meals
Until one day they made a system far less than ideal
For with two heads and with no butt a dragon gets quite full
So once old Tek had had his share his stomach he would throw
Onto the ground then turn around so Tut could have his fill
He ate until his hunger stopped then vomitted at will
This rouse of sorts went on for years they'd eat and eat and eat
And then they'd yak and turn around, the meal would thus repeat

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This is a poor attempt of a re-creation of a silly rhyme I wrote up some years ago. The Book which had contained this poem and many other pieces, is unfortunately lost forever

This does have a sing-song vibe that reminds of a kinds book, though a little twisted for children! Reminds me of CatDog, I always wondered how that worked for them. I'd say something probably close to this!

An oldie, but a goodie. What a mind! This would make a great children's song and lovable plush toy
