Tell Me Poem by Jane H. Hu

Tell Me

Click here to listen to Tell Me I linger, search around in autumn rain;
The campus palm trees dance like yesterdays,
Forever gone is home of youthful days.
In a bookstore, poignantly the past is plain
A silhouette on your book is sad with pain;
You stare at sky and sea in twilight rays.
Your poems are ringing bells in most strange ways;
My buried dreams come back, can you explain?
Outside the window, raindrops fall like tears;
You've never left, there cries a nightingale.
For you I open my door - stay with me.
between our life and death, with joy and tears,
Please tell me how to lift the foggy veil.
I sojourn, where are you tonight? Tell me.
