Tell Me A Story, Beautiful Fairy Poem by Justin Gildow

Tell Me A Story, Beautiful Fairy

Tell me a story, beautiful fairy
Make it cheerful and happy
Or earthy and dreamy
Just entertain me
For at least a little while
Make me a believer
Make me smile

In the real world
Everything or most of everything is black
or white
Some want something so demandingly
real
Some choose not to believe in fantasy
Some aren't really hoping for the wonders
of nature magic these days

Telling me your tale
You've got my attention
As I'm listening
Listening to the words in your story
I feel a weight lifted off my shoulders
I feel like I'm younger instead of older
You know exactly how to make me feel
You know how to make me smile
And you've shown me how to believe
