Tell O Mona Lisa Poem by KAVIN CHARALAN

Tell O Mona Lisa

Da Vinci's wondrous creation
Gorgeous Mona Lisa!
You have such a beautiful smile
And you look at everybody with socialistic equality
Still you maintain the self same smile
Without a quiver on the lips nor a change in colors
Through the centuries for the last five hundred long years
Last week I met a girl on the sea shore
She smiled the same way you did and a week gone by
She changed her smile and said good bye
These girls, your distant cousins can't maintain discipline
Even for a simple single week
And their smiles vanish like their vanishing creams
Tell O Mona Lisa, ageless smiling beauty
How can we, the poets paint the poem of love
On paper or poem hunter

Great work KAVIN. Good imagery in comparing Leonardo's masterpiece and how fake and shortlived everything becomes these days. keep it up.
