Why is it that you cannot tell the truth?
Do I not deserve to have that part of you?
All this time we have fought so hard to have the love we desire.

How is it that you can look me in the eye..
Right in my eye and tell me a lie?
Do I deserve my heart to cry?
All this time we have invested into eachother to have a love go up in fire?

Why is it that your lashes do not flutter..
and your tongue..it does not stutter?
You do it so well.. you think I can not tell? !
My heart knows yours, did you not know?
So tell me the truth now or I will have to go.
