Temperamental © Poem by Roann Mendriq

Temperamental ©

Someone has lost his temper,
It's nowhere to be found;
I'm searching high and low for it,
trying not to make a sound.

Bad temper is for losing
a mind that's not its own;
A mind devoid of rationale,
a raucous, raging tone.

I search not for this temper,
I rather it stays lost;
I rather it stays hidden,
For the price that it has cost.

The temper that I seek,
is good and kind and gentle;
Always serene, always calm,
never temperamental!
