Tempestuous Solace Poem by Nathan Beery

Tempestuous Solace

So how often with this I come to think
And so quiet remark so on some things
Some rain tapped on glass like melody
Pouring down on the earth as some spilt drink
And so it roars cracking loud as though sing-
ing a wild chant shattering harmony
And once again giving rise to 'gain shrink
From the ongoing storm as it 'gain brings
One the shattering of their spotless mind
And in chaotic solace some peace to find
