Temptation Poem by Barbara Blevins

Temptation

There's a rainbow after the storm,
Jesus my protector keep me safe from harm.
When satan comes in like a flood,
Raise up a standard against him, he can't cross the blood.
When life seems to be dragging you down,
Grab hold of Jesus and stand your ground.
He gave us authority to tread upon serpents, you see,
He said take up your cross and follow after me.
The church built upon the rock,
Gates of hell can not stop.
When temptations come do not doubt,
Jesus is your escape, your way out.
Closser to Jesus, as you draw near,
Beginning to see the rainbow appear.
