Tender Is The Night Poem by Nosheen Irfan

Tender Is The Night

Rating: 4.9

Tender is the night
In the silver majesty of a full moon
I wonder why the wind is quiet
When the heart needs a voice
The stars are far but bright
We wish we could pluck them like flowers
How far is the morning, it matters not
For someone finds in the lunar glow
The luster of the beloved's eyes
A cry goes up to the skies
Oh, what bliss the seeker finds!
Tender is the night.

A night beautifully portrayed that the reader wishes life had been an unending night of lunar glow and smiling stars. Let us promote the morning star, Venus, to the midnight, to complete this picture of ecstasy. (10)
