Tendrils Of Corruption Poem by Patrick Tincher

Tendrils Of Corruption

You are a disease
Slowly seeping through my veins
Thoughts eroding my brain
Piece by piece you stole my heart
Just to eat it
Then you vomited it from your vile mouth
You would rather tear out my insides
Than apologize
I am a disease
Quickly coursing through your veins
Thoughts erasing your brain
Slowly but surly stealing your life
Already eroded thoughts corrupted by you
Pain resurfacing
Old memories ruining what good there was
Why did life turn out the way it did?
Love lost in a hale of you
