TERROR IN SAND

Is it terror to live in desert sand
and fear exploring the dried out land?
Of course it is. What do you think?
Not even a dropp of water to drink.

Is it terror to die in desert sand
and fear expiring because of man?
Of course it is.
How would you feel
ending up as a snakes's last meal?

A boundary between the things misnamed
Death and existence: Sleep hath its own world,
And a wide realm of wild reality,
