When bad things start to happen to me,
I know with God I'm safe, that's true,
With this in mind, I try to cope with anything,
As everyday I just proceed and go my way anew.

There are so many things that everyday,
We all need and have to face,
Trying to deal with it the best, that we can,
And we can overcome everything with God's grace.

Jesus Christ, my sweet Lord and Comforter,
Is always for you and me there,
And nothing we should really fear;
He's with you right there, and He cares.

Tests and problems just come and go,
But God wants us to be strong,
Because we'll always have them, and that's so,
But my sweet Lord Jesus, I just trust all along.
