Than Her No Better Teacher Poem by Francis Duggan

Than Her No Better Teacher

I have loved Mother Nature since I was a young boy
And learning more about her in my many walks I do enjoy
And than her no better teacher believe that if you may
At least I learn from her something new every day
Yes in my every walk in Nature I learn something new
Though I still have much to learn of her and her secrets are not few
Of her millions of life forms so little I do know
And as I age my wonder of her does only grow
What can be said of Nature that has not been said before
She is present all around the World from north to southern shore
In my every walk I marvel at the beauty that I see
Her wild birds chirp and whistle on every bush and tree
The artists and the writers to greatness she inspire
And of singing her praises it would be hard to tire.
