Thank God

Thank God
For what you have,
And forgot the past
Which already past,
Thank God for two eyes to see
And being rich that’s what He gave,
Thank God having a brother
And sister to live with you,
Thank God for being a human
And rich for all time long,
Thank God for a new life
That ends with a happy sight,
Be kind for all time long
And thank God in several times a day.
My every comes from God
My thanks are from me.

I love to see the old heath's withered brake
Mingle its crimpled leaves with furze and ling,

Starts slow and flaps its melancholy wing,
