Thank You

I want to thank you for the support you gave
you showed me light and guided my way
you give me love each day I lived
you're the best, what more can I say

you have brought the best out of me
to what i can do and to what i can be
so let me write this poem and give my heart and soul
you're one of a kind and the best of all

if you ever need me, i'll give you my strength
i'll give you comfort, i'll give you my faith
i'll lift you up whenever you fall
after all, isn't that what friends are for?

Poem of the Day

poet Paul Laurence Dunbar

The mist has left the greening plain,
The dew-drops shine like fairy rain,
The coquette rose awakes again
Her lovely self adorning.
